Now in South Korea, citizens enjoy an average download speed of 43.3 Mbps. The average American download rate, by comparison, hangs around8.9 Mbps. In the future, South Korea plans to build a super broadband infrastructure will upload and download speeds of 1Gbps by 2013 and soon the internet users of South Korea may be able to download stuff only in seconds example they can download a full length movie in less than two seconds!. The project will cost about 24.5 billion dollars, and will largely be funded by trage he private sector. Being called one the most wired places on earth, the new service will be available in large cities and a paltry 50-100 Mbps connection in a smaller South Korean towns.
